Hi Patrons
I can’t believe it’s almost April. The year is flying by! We have been really busy at Singular MARS since my last update. Here are some of the things we have been up to:
Previous Plastic Shredder case study
You may have already seen, however we recently launched a case study about the shredder we shipped up to Scotland last year, supporting Glasgow-based fashion brand, KPCouturé, to create beautiful accessories such as earrings, buttons and badges, using recycled plastic. Read our case study to find out more.
Singular MARS exhibiting at Zero Waste Recycling Expo
To celebrate Earth Day on April 22nd, Singular MARS will be exhibiting at the first ever “Zero Waste Recycling Expo” taking place in Colchester, Essex. Organised by Wivenhoe’s ‘Repair, Reuse, Recycle’ (RRR) it is the first public event of its kind to inspire and promote the repair, reuse and recycling of all materials to a wider audience. We are very excited to be participating in this event which is expected to have 50 exhibitors and attract 2,000 attendees during the course of the day. This event is free to attend, so if you happen to be nearby, why not stop by to show your support for this important cause.
Investing in Recycling Technologies
As you will already know, here at Singular MARS, we love to invest in like-minded, ethical companies that focus on creating solutions that benefit humanity and the environment overall. This month we have invested in Recycling Technologies Ltd, a Wiltshire-based company that has developed a world-leading machine to recycle waste plastic into the oil it originally came from. This oil can then be used to create plastic again. We are incredible excited about this recent investment and hope you are too!
Singular MARS Mission and Values
We spent quite a bit of time thinking about and agreeing on the core mission and values we uphold here at Singular MARS. These have now been published as part of a broader business plan for the company which you can take a look at here should you be interested.
Finally, I wanted to remind you about our regular donations to Dave Hakkens (Precious Plastic), Fully Charged Show, Wikipedia, and Scott Santens who advocates for a Universal Basic Income, that keep happening thanks to you.
Please consider supporting us so that we can continue to get involved in these as well as other exciting projects, and don’t forget to follow us on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram andLinkedIn.
Until next time!
